TESTIMONIALS....
"I have recently decided to produce and re–record my own original songs doing them “My Way”. Almost at the same time I was introduced to Aly Cook here in New Zealand but didn’t realise at the time, that down the track I would form a relationship with her and her business partner Therese McKee, who together are “KEY2 ARTIST PROMOTIONS” .
“KEY2 ARTIST PROMOTIONS” invited me to Tamworth Australia 2019 for my very first visit to the Tamworth Country Music Festival. The girls arranged shows, interviews and meet and greets, introducing me to the who’s who of Australian Radio. Every aspect of my visit to Tamworth was timed to perfection. Key2 left nothing to chance. Their eye for detail is impeccable. I soon discovered these ladies are not only very well respected by radio DJs all over Australia but are trusted by them to introduce the best of entertainers and their songs.
Since being with KEY2 we have released 4 songs in Australia and all 4 songs have made it on the charts. KEY2 work tirelessly behind the scenes to give us all the best chance of getting our music out there. I know that not all songs are going to make it on to the charts but I do know that KEY2 ARTIST PROMOTIONS will give 110% to have our music heard.
KEY2 ARTIST PROMOTIONS has what it takes to promote your music to radio. Their partnership is incredible. Between the two ladies their knowledge of social media, PR talent, connections and respect within the industry is next to none.
It’s pretty much a given if KEY2 ARTIST PROMOTIONS take you on board then you are on your way to success. Give them the talent, trust them with your music. They will get the best results. I know my music is safe in the hands of KEY2 ARTIST PROMOTIONS (Aly Cook and Therese McKee). I am grateful I am a part of your business and your world. " - Jodi Vaughan Country Music Legend
"After 2 weeks of radio airplay in March and April 2021 ‘Holding a Good Hand’, from my CD ‘Songs What I Like & Songs Wot I Rit’, went onto the Tasmanian top 40 chart at number 20. One week later it made the Australian airplay top 40, debuting at number 35, all thanks to Aly Cook and Therese McKee Of Key2 Artist Promotions Sydney. Thanks to you both for pushing my CD on so many radio stations throughout Australia and for setting up so many radio interviews. I am at the moment getting my new CD together, which will definitely be promoted again through KEY2 ARTIST PROMOTIONS. Cheers and thank you sincerely. - Rhys Warner - Singer / Songwriter

Aly Cook has over 35 years experience in the entertainment industry, having toured globally with large international acts, first as a Tour Coordinator & Publicist, and later as an Event Manager on food & wine festivals, sporting fixtures, and as a Concert Promoter herself. She has worked for major labels as a rep and managed her own label in the 80s, with distribution via Virgin, releasing Tama Renata's critically acclaimed Workshop album. Aly has recently tour managed a sold out NZ national tour for the NZ Highwaymen (Gray Bartlett, Eddie Low, Brendan Dugan & Dennis Marsh.)
Aly is also a songwriter and recording artist herself. She has conducted songwriting seminars in NZ, taught songwriting in Schools for the New Zealand Music Commission and has been a Tutor at the Dag Sheep station Songwriter's retreat in Australia. Aly was nominated for APRA NZ Country Song of the Year in 2011, MLT songwriter finalist in 2007, was awarded New Zealand Female Country Artist of the Year in 2012 and Finalist twice in 2011 and 2016 for 'NEXT Magazine's New Zealand Woman of the Year' in the Arts & Culture section. In 2017 Aly put together a TV show called Kiwi Country TV. Still in development, the show screens twice weekly on Keep it Country TV in the UK and Europe. It now is a 24/7 channel on Mainland TV in Nelson NZ .
Therese, on the other hand, was seeking a change after a lengthy career in teaching. She had been a front singer in a band in her younger years and considered revisiting music as a career. After approaching Nicki Gillis to hone her singing skills, Therese found herself pulled into the music business side of the industry, working alongside of Nicki for 2 years at Lockhouse Productions. Therese assisted Nicki with show logistics, photography, merchandising, marketing and social media. It was there that Therese realised her passion for promotion and publicity, which led on to her completion of a Business Management course, and the setting up of her own business 'Key2 Artist Promotions'.
In 2014 Aly met Therese McKee through social media. Therese was impressed by a music video that she had just seen by NZ artist Aly Cook and Aly was looking for someone to represent her in Australia. Aly knew through her experience that it's always important to have someone other than yourself representing your music. Soon after this Therese became Aly Cook's Australian PR and Agent with Key2 Artist Promotions.
With a background in teaching with 20 years experience, Therese had the perfect literary and grammar skills required in copy-writing, biography composition and press release creation. Aly saw in Therese the potential to become an amazing publicist and PR and set about helping her to attain the skills she desired to make a mark on the music industry. As another string in her bow, Therese had studied Interior Design at the prestigious Sydney Institute of Technology Design Centre where she was one of only 30 selected in Australia. This has given her a great eye for graphics and design in artist presentation and has lead on to her becoming an Art Director on music videos with Paul Denham Imagery. Therese's background as an Executive Teacher, Staff Supervisor and Project Coordinator have also meant great organisational and communication skills have been brought to the table.
It was a natural progression for Aly & Therese to join forces as business partners and so the new Key2 Artist Promotions & AC Marketing partnership was born.
Therese now looks after the Australian scheduling and radio plugging for Key2 Artist Releases, Social Media Posting, Press Releases, Key2 Website Management and Artist Publicity. To her credit, she has worked as Publicist and PR for Aly Cook's Australian Tours, Radio Tours, The Mildura Festival and Tamworth Country Music Festival for Key2 Artist Promotions shows, including looking after NZ Country Music Legends Jodi Vaughan and Brendan Dugan. Therese was responsible for PR & logistics for Aly Cook & Band at The Summer Concert at Taupo NZ which headlined Melissa Etheridge, REO Speedwagon and Huey Lewis & the News. She & Aly were also outsourced to work on the Tasmanian Country Music Awards. Therese was recently engaged for Publicity and PR on the 'Keeping The Light On' album release in Australia for Gerry Beckley (America) in 2021 escorting Gerry to the ABC, 2GB and Channel9 for interviews.
